SITS muscles
Supraspinatus, Infraspinatus, Teres Minor, Subscapularis are muscles that sit in the shoulder girdle of the scapula (rotator cuff muscles).
Rotator cuff as a group - depresses humerus(arm bone in lay man's terms) and cancels superior translation by deltoid(stops deltoid being too strong).
